Bead With Friends Fridays
Our classroom space is available every Friday from 11:00-3:00 for an "open studio" session. Bring a project, your own lunch or snacks and enjoy the company of other beaders. There is no fee when you are using supplies you purchased at Studio Baboo. Every month or so we feature a new Make & Take project during Beads With Friends Friday open studio session. The current project is the Diamond Duo Double Wrap Bracelet. You purchase the supplies, we provide help to get you started and finished. This is not a structured class but is an informal session where we will help you choose your beads and start and finish your project. No need to sign up - come and go as your schedule permits.
Would You Like to Teach a Class?
We are looking for instructors to teach beading classes - weaving, stringing, embroidery, loom, etc. If you are expert in a particular technique or have a fabulous original project you would like to share, you may be the person we are looking for. You must be well-spoken, friendly, outgoing and enjoy teaching adults. Please email a brief resume/outline of your experience, references and photos of a few recent projects to email@example.com. No calls or walk-ins. If we are interested in an interview, someone will contact you within five days of receiving your proposal.
Terri is featured on Monkeysee.com demonstrating basic bead stringing, earring making, hand knotting and peyote, brick and herringbone stitches. Go to monkeysee.com, click on Hobbies & Crafts, then click on Needlework and Terri's videos are featured under the "most viewed". Or click here. (In the video where Terri says the store opened 10 years ago... well, we've now been open for 15 years.)
